Job description

Role & responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Books of Accounts:

  • Thorough understanding of Accounting Standards and Principles.
  • To ensure real time and accurate books of accounts are maintained.
  • MIS Reporting to the management.

Statutory Compliances:

  • Thorough understanding of Income Tax, Advance Tax, GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, PT, ROC etc.
  • Liaising with consultants to ensure statutory compliances are met with the regulatory requirements.

Banking:

  • Review of banking transactions.
  • Stock Funding Credit Facilities Management.

• One point of contact for bankers for operational requirements, credit facilities renewals etc.

  • Banking MIS reporting to the management

Audit:

• Liaising with auditors to complete the internal audit and statutory audit.

  • One point of contact for the auditors requirements and for the resolution of queries.

Finance & Accounts Department:

• Complete ownership of the Department

• Management of 10 Team Members

Internal Control: ;

  • Ensuring that the implemented controls are in place and followed.
  • Understanding and assessing gaps where additional internal controls are required to be strengthened.

• Preparing and submitting the report where the controls/SOPs are not followed to the management.

Ad-hoc Activities:

  • Submission of ad-hoc reports to the management as and when required.

Working Relationship:

  • Co-ordination with internal and external stakeholders to support the business objectives. External: Bankers, Vendors, Auditors, Consultants etc.
  • Internal: Senior Management, Team Members of Other Departments

Good knowledge of Tally ERP9

• Strong Bookkeeping & Taxation knowledge

• Excellent knowledge of Excel & MS Office

• Be able to work independently and use their own initiative to learn

• Experience in Preparation of financial statements • Good Communication Skills
