Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Architecture Site Engineer to join our project team in Iraq. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of practical experience in the construction sector with a strong focus on architectural project execution. The role demands technical supervision, problem-solving, coordination among multiple stakeholders, and adherence to high standards of quality and safety on-site.

Primary Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Supervision:
    Monitor daily on-site activities to ensure compliance with architectural designs, specifications, and safety regulations.

  • Stakeholder Coordination:
    Act as a liaison between architects, contractors, consultants, and project managers to resolve any design or execution discrepancies.

  • Quality Control:
    Conduct regular inspections to verify workmanship quality and ensure that construction aligns with the approved plans and regulatory codes.

  • Documentation & Reporting:
    Maintain detailed site records including daily activity logs, labor reports, material usage, and progress updates.

  • Technical Problem Solving:
    Quickly identify and resolve on-site technical or design-related issues to avoid project delays.

  • Health & Safety Compliance:
    Enforce health, safety, and environmental guidelines on-site, ensuring all workers comply with established regulations.

  • Subcontractor Oversight:
    Supervise subcontractor work and ensure it aligns with timelines, budget, and design intent.

  • Material Management:
    Assist in material procurement processes, monitor delivery schedules, and confirm material quality and specifications.

  • Progress Monitoring:
    Track project milestones, detect potential delays early, and propose corrective measures to stay on schedule.

  • Effective Communication:
    Provide regular updates and feedback to architects, consultants, and management regarding construction progress and site conditions.


Required Qualifications:

  • Education:
    Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience:
    Minimum 3 years of site experience on architectural projects (residential, commercial, or infrastructure).

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and architectural detailing.

    • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or other architectural software.

    • Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and compliance protocols.

    • Ability to interpret complex architectural and structural drawings.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

    • High attention to detail and organizational skills.

    • Proactive problem-solver with the ability to work under pressure.

  • Language:
    Fluent in EnglishArabic language proficiency and previous Gulf experience are added advantages.

  • Certifications:
    Health and safety certifications (e.g., OSHA or equivalent) are a plus.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with multinational teams on large-scale projects.

  • Knowledge of project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera P6.

  • Familiarity with green building or sustainable construction practices.
