As an Area Sales Executive (ASE), you will be the key representative responsible for visiting retail outlets regularly, achieving sales targets, and ensuring the successful implementation of sales strategies. You will play a vital role in driving sales, building strong relationships with retailers, and ensuring the market presence of pet care treats and snacks.

Primary Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Achieving Sales Targets:

    • Execute sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.
    • Visit retail outlets regularly within the assigned area to drive sales and maximize revenue.
  2. Outlet Visits and Relationship Management:

    • Ensure a consistent schedule of retail visits to guarantee product availability and visibility.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with store owners and staff to promote brand loyalty.
  3. Merchandising and Display:

    • Ensure products are properly displayed and stocked according to company guidelines.
    • Implement promotional activities and ensure effective use of promotional materials.
  4. Order Management:

    • Take orders from retail outlets and coordinate timely product delivery.
    • Monitor inventory levels at outlets to prevent stock shortages or overstocking.
  5. Market Feedback and Reporting:

    • Collect market intelligence on competitor activities and market trends.
    • Submit regular sales performance reports, outlet visits, and market conditions to the Zonal Sales Manager.
  6. Execution of Sales Initiatives:

    • Implement promotions, new product launches, and marketing campaigns at the ground level.
    • Train and support retail staff on product knowledge and selling techniques.
  7. Customer Satisfaction:

    • Address and resolve retailer issues or complaints promptly.
    • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service and support.
  8. Compliance and Sales Hygiene:

    • Maintain accurate sales records and adhere to company policies and procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with sales processes and timely submission of required documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with retailers.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve sales targets.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned area.
