Job Overview

The Assistant Manager - International Business will be responsible for generating business opportunities and expanding market presence on a global scale. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of export operations, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with international partners.

Primary Responsibilities :

Responsibilities and Duties

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Export Strategies:
    Design and implement comprehensive export strategies to maximize profitability while minimizing operational costs.
  • Sales Growth:
    Identify new market opportunities and develop targeted sales plans to achieve revenue goals. Monitor sales performance and adapt strategies as needed.
  • Documentation Oversight:
    Ensure accuracy and compliance of all export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
  • Partnership Development:
    Establish and nurture relationships with international partners such as distributors, agents, and vendors to enhance market reach.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    Monitor and ensure adherence to international regulations, liaising with customs authorities and government bodies as needed.
  • Logistics Management:
    Negotiate shipping contracts and freight forwarding agreements to optimize logistics and manage costs effectively.
  • Database Management:
    Maintain detailed export databases, records, and reports to support operational efficiency and informed decision-making.
  • Market Analysis:
    Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions and improve services.
  • Customer Relations:
    Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Exhibition Coordination:
    Identify suitable exhibitions and trade shows to enhance market presence. Oversee all aspects of participation, including planning, logistics, and seamless execution.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Implement initiatives to streamline export operations and enhance overall performance.

Education

  • MBA preferred.
