Job Description: Business Head - Luxury Bags

Salary: ₹18,00,000 - ₹22,00,000 per annum
Experience: 15+ years in the luxury or high-end fashion sector


Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Business Head to lead and drive the strategic direction for our luxury bags division. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the luxury market and have a proven track record of successfully managing high-end brands. This role requires an innovative leader who can develop strategies, manage resources effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the brand’s image and profitability.

Primary Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning & Execution:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies to position the luxury bags brand as a market leader.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and consumer preferences, and integrate insights into the business plan.
    • Define long-term goals and create actionable plans to achieve growth targets.
  2. Brand Management & Marketing:

    • Formulate and execute marketing plans, communication policies, and promotional strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
    • Oversee brand positioning across various channels, ensuring alignment with luxury market standards.
    • Collaborate with creative agencies, PR, and digital marketing teams to drive effective campaigns.
  3. Product Development & Innovation:

    • Lead the product development process, working closely with design and production teams to create collections that reflect the brand’s luxury image.
    • Monitor product performance, gather customer feedback, and introduce innovations to stay ahead of industry trends.
    • Ensure the quality, craftsmanship, and uniqueness of products meet the expectations of the luxury consumer segment.
  4. Sales & Distribution:

    • Develop and oversee the sales strategy, ensuring strong national and international presence across retail and online channels.
    • Identify and establish partnerships with high-end retailers and distributors to expand the brand’s reach.
    • Monitor sales performance, implement measures to meet revenue targets, and optimize the distribution network.
  5. Resource Management:

    • Manage budgets, financial plans, and resource allocation to maximize profitability and operational efficiency.
    • Oversee product line management, inventory, and supply chain processes to ensure timely delivery and product availability.
    • Implement financial controls and KPIs to monitor business health and make data-driven decisions.
  6. Market Trend Analysis & Client Development:

    • Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to stay relevant in the luxury market.
    • Develop strategies for client acquisition, retention, and loyalty programs, focusing on high-net-worth individuals and luxury connoisseurs.
    • Represent the brand at luxury events, exhibitions, and trade shows to build relationships and promote the brand's image.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 15+ years of experience in business management, with a strong focus on luxury brands or high-end fashion products.
  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the luxury market, including consumer behavior, product development, and brand positioning.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, with strong decision-making and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders, clients, and partners.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, assess market trends, and make informed business decisions.
  • International Exposure: Experience in managing international markets and expanding brand presence globally is highly desirable.
