- Provide accurate investment advice and manage clients' investment portfolios in the carbon market
- Evaluate financial reports and stay updated with the latest financial news
- Regularly inform clients about new investment opportunities and the status of their portfolios
- Source new clients through networking and cold calling, tailoring strategies based on market conditions
- Collaborate with sustainability experts to provide carbon offset solutions
- Generate leads from clients with Net Zero targets
- Develop business performance metrics and track client satisfaction (CSAT)
- Lead initial efforts to establish the business, including building a network of referral partners, industrial associations, and government agencies
- Deep understanding of voluntary carbon markets, environmental sustainability, and price implications of market demand and supply
- Expertise in Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), I-RECs, and carbon market functionality
- Identify and facilitate REC and I-REC registrations
- Conduct due diligence through field visits within India and internationally to assess carbon credit quality and market mechanisms
- Ensure compliance with carbon emissions reduction verification standards and methodologies
- Work with a nimble team to continuously build a commercial pipeline
- Open to travel as required
