Job Title: Project & Channel Sales Development Representative
Department: Sales
Role Overview:
The position is responsible for driving business growth through project-based and channel-driven sales. The role involves building strong relationships with architects, developers, contractors, and end customers, while managing and supporting channel partners to achieve regional sales targets.
1. Sales Development & Customer Engagement
Generate enquiries and close sales with key customer segments including architects, developers, PMCs, hospitality clients, contractors, and end users.
Conduct meetings, presentations, and CPD sessions with specifiers to promote product adoption.
Maintain and update a structured project pipeline tracker to ensure timely follow-up and conversion into orders.
2. Channel Partner Management
Identify, onboard, and nurture distributors, priority dealers, and trade partners.
Support channel partners and project dealers in securing and closing project orders.
Collaborate with certified applicators for seamless project execution.
Provide product training, marketing materials, and technical guidance to partners.
3. Business Planning & Reporting
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
Prepare weekly reports on enquiries, pipeline status, sales closures, and partner performance.
Monitor and report on competitor activities, pricing trends, and market dynamics.
4. Brand & Marketing Support
Enhance brand visibility through effective use of POP, displays, and marketing collateral.
Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, and regional brand activations.
Gather customer insights and feedback to support marketing and product strategies.
Drive local engagement initiatives to increase lead generation.
Bachelor degree
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
MBA or Post-Graduation in Sales & Marketing preferred.
3–6 years of experience in project sales, channel sales, or B2B business development, preferably in building materials, interiors, or related industries.
Strong understanding of B2B project and channel sales processes.
Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.
Strong presentation and communication abilities.
Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Ability to analyze data, manage multiple projects, and deliver results under deadlines.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and willing to travel extensively.
Indicative CTC: ₹6.0 – ₹8.0 LPA
