Locations: Tanzania, Ghana, and Nigeria

Vacancies: 3 (One position each in Tanzania, Ghana, and Nigeria)


Detailed Work Profile:

We are seeking experienced and dynamic Country Sales Managers to lead our sales operations in East and West Africa, specifically in Tanzania, Ghana, and Nigeria. The successful candidates will be responsible for driving sales, increasing market share, and achieving revenue targets in the liquor and spirits industry.

Primary Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives in the assigned country.
  • Manage and grow relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners in the liquor and spirits industry.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
  • Lead sales negotiations, close deals, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Manage and mentor the sales team to achieve high performance.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the liquor and spirits industry.
  • Proven track record of sales success and business development.
  • Experience working with or competing against companies like Mohan Meakin in Tanzania is preferred.

Contract Duration: 2 years minimum

Salary Range: $1500 USD to $2000 USD per month

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Post-graduate qualifications or specialized courses in sales or marketing are an advantage.

  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make strategic decisions.
  • Results-driven with excellent problem-solving abilities.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Languages Known:

  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Knowledge of local languages in the respective country is an added advantage.

Key Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of the liquor and spirits market in the respective country.
  • Strong negotiation and sales closing skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and data.
  • High level of cultural awareness and ability to adapt to local business practices.
