Key Responsibilities

ï‚· Meeting and coordination with Area Sales Manager

ï‚· Set target monthly/weekly for SA

ï‚· Prepare monthly working plan for SA

ï‚· Setting target monthly for himself

ï‚· Prepare weekly working plan for himself

ï‚· Visit POS daily

ï‚· Follow up daily report from DMS system 

ï‚· Control borrow MRC over POS/SA 

ï‚· Check SA's working time, performance, sales skill

ï‚· Coach SA


ï‚· Train, Coach SA (ALDI CD)

ï‚· Import day-off for all SA & collectors (timesheet)

ï‚· Report MIS Report Top report 

ï‚· Confirm the delivery of POSM, MKT materials, preprinted forms to POS/SA 

ï‚· Receive & consolidate SMS from SA to report ASM 

ï‚· Daily call to SA 

ï‚· Morning meeting with SA

ï‚· Check & reply email

ï‚· Do the market research, report

ï‚· Open new POS

ï‚· Review the result of CLX result daily 

ï‚· Update & analyze data in MIS

ï‚· Monitor, verify and consolidate the request of POSM at POSes 

ï‚· Go to e-learning, learn and do required tests

ï‚· Check payment book 3 times per week of all controlled collectors

ï‚· Send visit reports to Collection Admin 3 times per week

ï‚· Ensure collectors to return MRC kept over 10 days from borrowed date

1. Educational Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, Management, Commerce, or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus but not always required for most DSM roles, especially for senior positions.

2. Professional Experience:

  • Sales Experience: Typically 5+ years of experience in sales or business development, with at least 2-3 years of leadership or management experience in a sales environment.
  • Team Management: Proven experience managing and leading a sales team, guiding team members, setting goals, and ensuring their performance meets the desired standards.
  • B2B Sales: Experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales, particularly in a supervisory or management capacity, is often required.
  • Industry-Specific Experience: Prior experience in the relevant industry (e.g., FMCG, pharmaceuticals, technology, retail) is often highly preferred.
  • Proven Success in Meeting Sales Targets: A history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas and performance metrics.

3. Core Skills and Competencies:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a team of sales representatives. Ability to provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to improve team performance.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive growth in the assigned district. Focus on achieving district revenue goals, customer acquisition, and market share expansion.

  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills to secure new contracts, agreements, and sales deals while balancing client needs and company objectives.
  • Market and Competitor Analysis: Strong ability to analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify business opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Experience in sales forecasting, budgeting, and maintaining accurate sales records. Proficiency in generating reports to track performance and progress.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to address challenges within the team, market conditions, and client interactions to ensure smooth operations.

4. Technical Skills:

  • CRM Software: Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) to track leads, opportunities, and sales activities.
  • MS Office/Google Suite: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) for reporting, analysis, and presentations.
  • Sales Analytics: Strong analytical skills to evaluate sales performance, identify trends, and optimize strategies.

5. Soft Skills:

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with clients, sales teams, and senior management.
