Electrical QA/QC Engineer

Location:

RAK, UAE

Salary:

AED 4,000 – 5,500 per month


Experience Required:

  • B.Tech Degree Holders: 2–4 years

  • Diploma Holders: 5–6 years


Job Purpose:

The Electrical QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all electrical works and installations comply with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. The role involves performing inspections, identifying quality issues, coordinating with contractors, and maintaining all quality documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Bachelor degree

Primary Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections and testing of electrical installations as per approved drawings and standards

  • Review and verify material submittals, method statements, and inspection test plans (ITPs)

  • Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards

  • Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, and subcontractors regarding quality-related issues

  • Identify non-conformities and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions

  • Maintain documentation of inspections, test reports, and quality records

  • Ensure that all electrical works adhere to local regulations and international codes

  • Participate in internal and external quality audits

  • Support the project team in resolving quality issues during execution


Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering

  • Familiarity with electrical QA/QC procedures and industry standards

  • Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety practices

  • Good knowledge of testing tools, instruments, and documentation standards

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

  • Proficient in MS Office and QA/QC reporting tools
