Description

We are looking for a full stack web developer who is able to build and maintain websites focused on using PHP technologies. Ideal candidates will have experience and proficiency with building user interfaces / front-end development, stay up-to-date with new technologies and design approaches, present ideas and recommend solutions, possess strong communication skills and have an ability to collaborate as part of a development team.


Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years total of web development experience

  • At least 2 years of working experience using the LAMP stack, with understanding of environment configuration

  • Able to demonstrate simple MySQL db relational & table design

  • Able to demonstrate knowledge of well known sort and search algorithms, and evaluate the efficiency of code

  • Comprehensive understanding of Git

  • Understanding of MVC frameworks

  • Develop new user-facing features.

  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use.

  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

  • Optimise application for maximum speed and scalability.

  • Collaborate with other team members.

  • Experienced understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.

  • Experienced understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery.

  • Good Knowledge of responsive design techniques for desktop, tablets & mobile with and without grid frameworks.

  • Cross-browser compatibility.

  • Experienced understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing plat­forms, such as LESS/SASS and Compass.

  • GruntJS or GulpJS

  • Angular JS.

  • Photoshop & Illustrator skills.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Web Application Development:

    • Design, develop, and maintain responsive, scalable web applications across the full stack, from front-end to back-end.
    • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for both client-side and server-side applications.
    • Develop RESTful APIs and work on integrating them with front-end frameworks and back-end systems.

  • Front-End Development:

    • Develop dynamic, interactive, and responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
    • Implement cross-browser and cross-device compatibility to ensure a seamless user experience.

  • Back-End Development:

    • Work with server-side technologies such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java, or PHP to build robust back-end services.
    • Design and implement database structures using technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or SQL Server.
    • Manage authentication, authorization, and user data storage solutions.

  • Database Management:

    • Design, implement, and maintain efficient and secure databases.
    • Write complex SQL queries and optimize database performance.
    • Handle migrations, backups, and data integrity checks.

  • Version Control and Collaboration:

    • Use Git for version control, managing code repositories, and collaborating with team members.
    • Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, project managers, QA) to ensure successful project completion.
