Job Description: Head Japanese Chef

Position Title: Head Japanese Chef

Qualification :

Bachelor degree

Primary Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 10 chefs specializing in Sushi and Teppanyaki.
  • Plan and curate authentic Japanese menus.
  • Oversee and manage food purchases and kitchen supplies.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Japanese cuisine and food preparation techniques.
  • Provide strong leadership to the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative environment.

Contract Details:

  • Duration: Annual
  • Location: Pakistan

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent culinary qualification.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of professional experience in Japanese cuisine.
  • Special Requirements: No invalidity or handicap (work permit requirement).

Skills and Competencies:

  • Technical Skills: Mastery in Sushi, Teppanyaki, and other Japanese culinary techniques.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage a kitchen team effectively.
  • Teamwork: Strong team-building skills to foster collaboration and performance.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Attitude: Professional, disciplined, and goal-oriented.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: $2,500 – $3,000 USD (net).
