Job Description: Home Chef

Position: Home Chef
Experience Required: Minimum 3 years
Job Type: Onsite, at a home
Salary Range: $700 - $1,200 per month, based on experience
Number of Openings: 1
Working Hours: 6 days a week, morning to night with a break in the afternoon
Job Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Accommodation and Travel: Food, accommodation, and traveling tickets are covered
Contract Duration: 2 years

Candidate Location Preference: No specific location preference, but the candidate must know how to cook Gujarati and North Indian food
Communication Skills: Basic English speaking and reading skills
Languages Preferred: English is preferred; knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi is beneficial for communication

Primary Responsibilities :

Key Competencies:

  • Must be proficient in cooking Gujarati cuisine
  • Ability to cook non-vegetarian dishes, primarily chicken
  • Able to follow instructions carefully, especially for preparing mild-flavored dishes
  • Quick learner, able to watch YouTube videos or follow recipes and prepare dishes accordingly
  • Should not smoke or chew tobacco; moderate alcohol consumption in their own time is acceptable, though preferably no alcohol at all
