Job Title: Human Resource Manager (HRM)
Location: Kochi, India
Reports to: Director of HR

Position Overview: The HR Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of human resources across the organization. This role encompasses recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, compliance, and HR strategy. The HR Manager will work closely with senior management to align HR initiatives with business objectives and foster a positive work culture.

Primary Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:

    • Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain top talent.
    • Manage the entire recruitment process, from job postings and interviews to onboarding.
    • Collaborate with department heads to meet staffing needs efficiently.
  2. Employee Relations and Engagement:

    • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
    • Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and resolve issues consistently.
    • Initiate programs that boost employee morale, engagement, and retention.
  3. Performance Management:

    • Oversee performance management processes, including setting goals and conducting reviews.
    • Work with managers to create performance improvement plans when necessary.
    • Ensure performance appraisals are completed constructively and timely.
  4. Training and Development:

    • Identify training needs and develop learning programs to support employee growth.
    • Coordinate and deliver training sessions, workshops, and development initiatives.
    • Evaluate the success and impact of training programs on employees' skill enhancement.
  5. Compensation and Benefits:

    • Manage the compensation and benefits structure, ensuring competitiveness with industry standards.
    • Conduct market analysis to adjust salaries and benefits accordingly.
    • Administer payroll and benefits programs while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  6. Compliance and Risk Management:

    • Ensure adherence to local, state, and national employment laws and regulations.
    • Maintain updated HR policies and procedures that comply with legal standards.
    • Safeguard employee records, ensuring confidentiality and data protection.
  7. HR Strategy and Planning:

    • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop HR strategies that align with business goals.
    • Monitor HR metrics to evaluate the success of HR initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
    • Lead HR projects and initiatives, including diversity and inclusion efforts and organizational development.
  8. Team Leadership and Development:

    • Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
    • Ensure the HR team is structured effectively and equipped to meet company needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. A master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.
  • CIPD certification is highly desirable.
  • 5-7 years of experience in HR management with expertise in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and training.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
