Job Description: In-House Immigration Lawyer

We are seeking a highly skilled, mission-driven Immigration Lawyer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about making a tangible difference in people’s lives. You will work directly with international candidates navigating complex immigration pathways, helping them feel supported and confident throughout their journey.

This role blends immigration expertise, relationship-building, and a consultative approach — guiding candidates through employment-based Green Card processes and other visa pathways with clarity and precision. You will also work closely with internal teams to ensure immigration filings are handled efficiently, minimizing delays and candidate uncertainty.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as in-house immigration counsel specializing in employment-based Green Cards (EB-3), asylum-based applications, TPS, TN, and related processes.

Prepare and manage immigration filings end-to-end, including PERM labor certifications (and recruitment activities), prevailing wage determinations, I-140 petitions, I-485 applications or consular processing, as well as EAD renewals, DACA/TPS/H-1B extensions, and TN applications.

Provide direct immigration guidance to international candidates, instilling clarity and trust.

Reduce candidate churn by ensuring a smooth, transparent immigration process.

Stay current with changes in U.S. immigration law and maintain best practice standards.

Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, reporting directly to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience as an immigration lawyer in good standing in the U.S.

Proven track record handling EB-3 Green Card cases and working with asylum, TPS, DACA, and similar applications.

Ability to handle filings independently (5–20 filings/month) without reliance on external counsel for initial filings.

Strong communicator with authority and empathy to work with vulnerable populations.

Self-starter with strong organizational skills and a proactive mindset.

Availability to work within North American time zones (EST–PST range).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working remotely with small, high-output teams.

Strong curiosity and process improvement mindset.

Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Slack, Airtable, or Notion.
