Job Title: Kitchen Assistant

Reports To: Head Chef / Kitchen Manager

Job Summary: The Kitchen Assistant is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This role involves assisting with food preparation, cleaning, and ensuring that all kitchen operations comply with health and safety regulations.

Bachelor degree

Primary Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
  • Ensure that all kitchen areas are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
  • Manage and properly store food supplies and ingredients.
  • Follow health and safety regulations and report any issues to the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
  • Support the kitchen team during busy periods and help with other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical ability to handle kitchen equipment and lift heavy items.
