Job Description: Manager - Security & Vigilance

Location: Bechraji, Daslana & Kadi Region (Gujarat)
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years
Education: Minimum Graduate; Ex-Serviceman (Army, Navy, Air Force, Para Military Forces)
Experience: Minimum 7 to 10 years as a Security Officer/Assistant Manager Security or equivalent, preferably in a manufacturing unit
Language Skills: Must be fluent in English and Hindi
IT Skills: Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Email

Qualification :

Bachelor degree

Primary Responsibilities :

Functional Role & Responsibilities:

  1. Security Department Operations:

    • Oversee day-to-day operations ensuring smooth functioning of the security department.
    • Maintain strict discipline, personnel fitness, and professional turn-out of security staff across multiple sites.
  2. Security Procedures & Compliance:

    • Ensure adherence to all security procedures, statutory compliances, and record-keeping.
    • Handle surveillance, intelligence, and incident reporting.
  3. Asset & Personnel Management:

    • Manage and record the movement of goods, materials, and manpower.
    • Ensure the security of physical assets across multiple sites.
  4. Recruitment & Training:

    • Recruit security supervisors and guards, and provide necessary training in security protocols.
    • Train security personnel and ensure skill development in crisis management, fire safety, and emergency response.
  5. Site & Vendor Management:

    • Conduct regular site visits (both day and night) to ensure security standards are maintained.
    • Manage relationships with vendors and ensure effective visitor management.
  6. Security Audits & Fire Safety:

    • Conduct periodic security and fire safety audits, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
  7. Surveillance & Documentation:

    • Perform random checks on CCTV operations and ensure effective surveillance.
    • Maintain all security-related documents at each plant and update records as necessary.
  8. Roster & Compliance Management:

    • Oversee roster management, compliance checks, and investigations as required.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience or certification in Fire FightingFirst Aid, and Investigation Techniques is an advantage.
