Job Description: Marketing Communications Director – Globacom

Position Summary:
Globacom, a leading telecommunications and technology company, seeks a highly experienced and dynamic professional to lead its Marketing Communications division. The Marketing Communications Director will develop and execute comprehensive strategies to enhance brand visibility, strengthen market presence, and drive customer engagement. The ideal candidate will possess significant expertise in leading high-impact marketing initiatives within globally recognized multinational brands and have the leadership qualities necessary to excel in this pivotal role.

Primary Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership:

    • Design and implement innovative marketing communication strategies that align with Globacom’s corporate objectives and market dynamics.
    • Drive the overall brand vision, positioning, and messaging for competitive advantage.
  2. Brand Management:

    • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels, maintaining alignment with company values and goals.
    • Oversee the development of impactful campaigns to promote the company's products, services, and values.
  3. Integrated Marketing:

    • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver integrated marketing efforts, encompassing digital, social, print, and experiential marketing channels.
    • Monitor campaign effectiveness, ROI, and alignment with market trends and customer expectations.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Collaborate with internal teams, partners, and external agencies to ensure effective communication strategies.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media, industry leaders, and government bodies.
  5. Market Intelligence:

    • Stay abreast of global and regional market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity.
    • Utilize data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies and improve decision-making processes.
  6. Leadership and Mentorship:

    • Inspire and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
    • Provide mentorship to team members to build their skills and advance their careers.

Key Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 18 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, and brand leadership roles, preferably in telecommunications, oil & gas, digital payments, or FMCG sectors.
  • Proven track record with top-tier multinational organizations such as Reliance Jio, Vodafone, Coca-Cola, Unilever, Total Energies, Shell, Airtel, and similar globally recognized brands.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on driving results, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in leveraging market research and data analytics to inform strategies.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Profile:

  • Age Range: 45–58 years (exceptional profiles above 58 may be considered).
  • Proven resilience, character, and professional ethics necessary for top-level leadership roles.
  • Candidates with international exposure and experience working across diverse markets.
  • Preferred regions: India, Pakistan, Africa, UAE, Oman, Eastern Europe, or neighboring regions.
