Job Description: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1. Commissioning & Setup:

   • Oversee the commissioning of extensive and intricate plants with diverse mechanical equipment.
   • Ensure the installation of machinery and systems is performed as per design specifications and standards.

2. Operations Management:

   • Monitor and manage plant operations to ensure optimal performance.
   • Conduct regular inspections and supervise the operation of critical mechanical systems.

3. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance:

   • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and enhance system reliability.
   • Utilize predictive maintenance techniques to anticipate potential equipment failures.

4. Troubleshooting & Repair:

   • Diagnose mechanical issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
   • Ensure timely repairs and replacements of components to maintain plant efficiency.

5. Process Optimization:

   • Analyze equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize plant processes.

6. Documentation & Reporting:

   • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including schedules, repairs, and inspections.
   • Prepare and submit reports on equipment performance and maintenance activities.

7. Safety & Compliance:

   • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all maintenance activities comply with industry standards and regulations.
   • Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective measures to address identified hazards.
