Operations Head – Sheet Metal/Car Seat Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the complete operations of a 700-1000 headcount manufacturing unit.
• Oversee production, maintenance, process engineering, and NPD functions, ensuring seamless integration between these areas.
• Drive process improvements and ensure manufacturing excellence through continuous innovation and operational best practices.
• Implement strategies that are customer-centric, keeping customer preferences at the forefront of operational decisions.
• Maintain budget control with a focus on cost-efficiency and the implementation of innovative ideas to optimize operational costs.
• Promote and drive the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies, focusing on digitization and process automation.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards by applying concepts like Poka Yoke (error-proofing) and other process improvement techniques.
• Develop, mentor, and build a high-performing team while fostering a culture of collaboration, discipline, and continuous improvement.
• Identify operational risks and implement effective mitigating controls.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of operational strategies with business goals.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Education: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 18-25 years of experience, specifically in operations within the sheet metal or car seat manufacturing industries.
• Industry Exposure: Experience in automobile manufacturing or similar sectors is essential. Preference for candidates from reputed Indian or Japanese firms.
