Job Title: Operations Head

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and process-oriented Operations Head with a strong background in production, maintenance, process engineering, and new product development (NPD). The ideal candidate will come from a reputable Indian or Japanese company, with extensive experience in the Injection Moulding Process and Assembly Line Process in the manufacturing sector, particularly within Automotive Manufacturing.

Primary Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all operations involving ProductionMaintenanceProcess Engineering, and New Product Development.
  • Lead and manage teams comprising 700-1000 headcount, ensuring smooth functioning and high efficiency.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and champion manufacturing excellence.
  • Align operational strategies with automobile manufacturing concepts and customer-centric strategies, understanding market demands and customer preferences.
  • Implement budget control measures with a focus on innovation and cost-efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging concepts like Poka YokeIndustry 4.0, and Digitization.
  • Lead team building efforts and inspire leadership across all levels of the operational workforce.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Education: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum of 18-25 years of experience in managing large-scale operations in manufacturing, specifically in Injection Moulding and Assembly Line Process.
  • Proven ability to handle operations involving 700-1000 employees, with a deep understanding of automotive strategies and concepts.
  • Strong focus on customer-centric operations and improvement of processes to match customer preferences.

Key Skills:

  • Extensive experience in handling large-scale manufacturing operations.
  • Expertise in Process ImprovementManufacturing Excellence, and Team Leadership.
  • Strong understanding of Budget Control with an innovative approach.
  • Knowledge of Poka YokeDigitization, and Industry 4.0.
  • Excellent people management and team handling skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective teams.
  • Analytical and technical proficiency, with the ability to evaluate risks and implement mitigating controls.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
