Job Title: Intermediate/Senior Accountant (BAS)

CTC: 12-20 LPA
Experience: 4+ years
Location: Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Coimbatore

Qualification :

Bachelor degree

Primary Responsibilities :

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

·Complete processing of year end work for individuals, trust, partnerships, and companies.

· Preparation of workpapers for all material P&L accounts and all balance sheet accounts.

· Reconciliation of sales, GST, payroll tax and all balance sheet accounts.

· Identify Div7a issues.

· Prepare CGT calculations.

· Prepare income tax reconditions, income tax return workpapers and income tax returns.

· Identify tax efficient trust distributions and dividend payments.

· Prepare list of matters identified for manager and partner to discuss with client.

· Preparation and posting of alignment journals once year end job is completed.

· Track, coordinate, and communicate your own workflow and associated timelines with all

invested parties proactively and on a regular basis.

· Multitask and manage various requests from different clients with 100% accuracy and attention

to detail.


Skills, attributes and competencies required:

· CA or MBA Qualified

· 4+ years’ post graduate experience working in Professional Practice firms.

· At least 1 to 2 years’ experience working in BPO environments with Australian accounting firm’s

environment.

· Proficient in MYOB, Xero.

· Proficient in Excel.

· Knowledge on payroll regulations.

· Knowledge on GST matters.

· Clear communication with managers.


· Attention to detail in regard to description in accounting file, BAS workpapers, payroll

· processes and month-end workpapers.

· Ability to identify issues or errors in accounting file and communicate these to managers.

· Fixed asset knowledge including disposal of assets.

· Ability to identify tax issues.

· Proficient in identifying matters and differences in regards to tax rates, tax concessions and

· Knowledge on different entity types.

· Efficient in working within budgets and deadlines.
