Position: Pre-Press Manager
Location: Bavla, Ahmedabad

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pre-Press Manager to oversee the pre-press operations for our wide-format, single-pass digital printing machine. The Pre-Press Manager will be responsible for managing the pre-press workflow, ensuring efficient and accurate completion of all tasks to meet production deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.

Primary Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire pre-press workflow, including file preparation, color management, and proofing, ensuring timely and accurate job completion.
  • Collaborate with the production team to implement best practices that optimize pre-press efficiency and quality.
  • Maintain and update pre-press equipment and software to ensure consistent performance and output quality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve pre-press issues to minimize downtime and keep production schedules on track.
  • Supervise and train pre-press staff, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and knowledge for effective performance.
  • Keep up with industry trends and technological advancements to identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Printing Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in pre-press operations, preferably in a wide-format digital printing environment.
  • Proficiency in pre-press software, including Adobe Creative Suite and RIP software.
  • Experience with color management, including the use of spectrophotometers.
  • Strong knowledge of color management principles and best practices.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
