Job Title: Sales and Marketing Manager - Building Materials (Fenestration)
Department: Marketing and Sales
Reports To: Executive Director

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Sales and Marketing Manager to manage architect and customer relationships, drive sales, and create performance reports within the building materials sector, specifically fenestration (doors, windows, and glass industry). The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in modern marketing techniques, and a proven track record in achieving sales targets and developing long-term relationships in this industry.

Primary Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve set targets for the financial year in terms of sales and revenue.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, clients, and channel partners.
  • Profile and manage channel partners to ensure optimal sales performance.
  • Collaborate with the territory sales team and channel partners to drive sales and meet annual targets.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and brand-building exercises.
  • Manage the entire life cycle of an order, from product presentation and consultative selling to material dispatch and site readiness.
  • Conduct market research on competitor products, pricing, and discount policies.
  • Coordinate with the Project Management Department to keep customers updated on their orders.
  • Ensure timely preparation of offers and estimates by sales teams and channel partners.
  • Prepare and present weekly sales performance reports.
  • Submit regular sales reports, market matrices, and other required documentation.
  • Provide training and guidance to the sales team, ensuring their growth and successorship.
  • Adhere to organizational policies and procedures at all times.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any Science (B.Tech. or B.Sc.), with an MBA in Marketing.

Desired Experience:

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in the building materials industry, preferably within fenestration (doors, windows, glass).
  • Proven experience in developing an architect network and managing customer relationships.
  • Strong experience in creating and analyzing performance reports independently.
  • Knowledge of modern marketing techniques and sales strategies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel, and marketing and sales software.
  • Consistent employee history in previous roles.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Excel, and sales/marketing software.
    • Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and plans.
    • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
