Positon: Sales and Marketing Manager

Location: Koklata

Salary: 5,00,000LPA - 40,00,000LPA

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for achieving sales & business development targets .
  • Deliver the sales volume and revenue forecasts along with the annual operating plan and own responsibility for the forecast accuracy.
  • Direct and coordinate all operational and business activities to meet customer requirements and achieve and/or exceed profit plan and strategic planning goals and objectives.
  • Formulate & conceptualize Sales strategies that are aligned with Supplier business strategy.
  • Represent Singhania & Sons at key industry meetings and conferences to promote Singhania & Sons products and develop the prospect pipeline.
  • Build and maintain executive level customer relationships.
  • Drive commercial excellence and Value Selling initiatives.
  • Maintain a computerized business lead register and frequently update marketing status in it.
  • Prepare monthly sales report and track self-performance.
  • Follow up on payments.

Experience Requirements:

1. Chemical Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in specialty and semi-specialty/functional chemicals pertinent to sectors such as paints, inks, adhesives, construction, and related industries.

2. Industry Networking: Extensive network and strong connections with manufacturers operating within the specified industry segments, particularly in the eastern regions of India. Preferably, familiarity with manufacturers in Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Assam.

3. Professional Track Record: Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience, with a focus on B2B sales of specialty and semi-specialty/functional chemicals, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics and client requirements.

4. Research and Development Exposure: Desirable experience of 2-3 years in research and development within the chemical domain, offering valuable insights into product innovation and market trends.

5. Sales Proficiency: Proven ability to drive sales and business development initiatives, leveraging industry knowledge and relationships to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence effectively.

6. Communication Abilities: Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with manufacturers, comprehend their needs, and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements.

7. Problem-solving Aptitude: Capacity to identify and address customer pain points, offering tailored solutions and value-added services to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

8. Market Insight: Capability to conduct thorough market analysis, staying updated on industry trends and competitive landscape, to capitalize on emerging opportunities and mitigate potential risks.
