Job Responsibilities:
Key Performance Indicators (KPI)/Goals Setting:
- Drive sales of industrial equipment (printers or similar capital goods) in an assigned territory.
- Operate out of the branch office or as a resident sales engineer depending on the location.
- Focus on growing sales for the area assigned, including managing the existing customer base and acquiring new customers.
- Conduct customer training and seminars for both existing and new products or features.
- Make regular visits to key clients to strengthen relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Gather and analyze competitor information and convert opportunities into new accounts.
- Secure repeat orders and build strong long-term customer relationships.
Sales and Territory Management:
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to the Branch Manager/Branch Sales Manager/Business Development Manager.
- Take full ownership of the resident location's sales activities, if operating from a remote site.
- Ensure timely payment collection according to agreed purchase order terms.
- Collect necessary forms (e.g., C forms) within the prescribed timelines.
- Conduct thorough territory coverage, including customer visits, lead generation, and follow-ups.
- Plan sales activities to maximize resource efficiency and optimize tour planning.
- Achieve assigned sales targets, including units sold, target sectors covered, price realization, customer satisfaction, and on-time payment collection.
- Provide after-sales support to customers, including assisting with product installations and addressing service concerns.
- Ensure all necessary regulatory and statutory compliance updates are completed regularly.
- Stay updated on products, market trends, and competitor activity.
