Primary Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Business Development:

    • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction, coatings and inks, adhesives, rubber, and plastics sectors.
    • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive products.
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and goals.
  2. Customer Relationship Management:

    • Serve as the primary contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential and existing clients.
    • Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with clients.
  3. Technical Support:

    • Provide technical assistance and product information to clients.
    • Collaborate with the technical team to address client queries and provide solutions.
  4. Sales Administration:

    • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and budgets.
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions.
    • Ensure timely delivery of products and services to clients.
  5. Team Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
    • Work with the product development team to provide feedback from clients and market research.
    • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote company products and services.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the construction, coatings and inks, adhesives, rubber, or plastics industry.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of the performance materials industry.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Knowledge of CRM software is a plus.
