Role: Sales Manager - Africa
Experience: 8+ years
Location: India/Africa (Work from Home)
Salary Budget:

  • India-based Candidates: ₹15-16 LPA
  • Africa-based Candidates: $3000 - $4000

Primary Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Regional Sales Strategy Development:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy targeting the African market, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  2. Sales Cycle Leadership:

    • Lead the complete sales cycle in Africa, from prospect qualification to discovery and successful deal fulfillment.
  3. Industry Expertise & Consultative Selling:

    • Leverage recent and relevant experience in the telecom industry, specifically in Africa, to engage with prospects through consultative sales approaches.
    • Understand clients’ business challenges and propose tailored, impactful solutions.
  4. Client Relationship Management:

    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives, clients, and partners in the telecom sector.
    • Identify and close new sales opportunities within targeted telecom accounts.
  5. Sales Performance:

    • Consistently exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas.
    • Demonstrate resilience and prioritize client needs to maximize revenue opportunities.
  6. Cross-functional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and R&D, to align sales strategies with broader organizational goals.
  7. Market Analysis:

    • Monitor and analyze competitor products, market trends, and activities to identify opportunities and ensure competitive positioning.
  8. Team Management:

    • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team focused on achieving regional sales targets.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven and consistent track record in sales to large telecom customers, with established C-suite relationships.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in sales within the telecom industry, with substantial exposure to the African market.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage in consultative selling and solution-based approaches.
  • Strong knowledge of the African telecom landscape, including key players, market trends, and challenges.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to exceed sales targets and drive team performance.
