Job Description: Senior Event Planner

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Event Planner for a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and managing events from concept to execution, ensuring seamless operations, budget adherence, and overall client satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor and Product Sourcing: Identify and liaise with vendors to procure products and services as per client needs.
  • Event Planning: Design comprehensive event plans, including cost estimates, timelines, locations, programs, and guest lists.
  • Client and Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate with clients, vendors, sponsors, and event attendees to understand requirements and provide updates.
  • Coordination: Oversee logistics, including venues, catering, décor, transportation, and on-site setups and teardowns. Address and resolve any issues during events.
  • Evaluation: Conduct post-event evaluations to measure success and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Budget Management: Prepare, manage, and monitor budgets, ensuring financial accountability by reviewing bills and approving payments.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively anticipate challenges and devise strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of event planners and designers to ensure effective collaboration and execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least one year of relevant experience in event planning or a similar role.
  • Strong skills in budgeting, planning, and organizational management.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time-management abilities.
  • Creativity and flexibility to handle diverse tasks and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Leadership and team management experience.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and working under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with a variety of stakeholders effectively.
