Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Pattern Maker with expertise in advanced pattern development and construction of high-end garments. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of garment structure, fit, and finishing, with hands-on experience in luxury or premium fashion segments.
Qualifications
Diploma / Degree in Fashion Design, Garment Technology, or related field preferred
6–7 years of hands-on experience in advanced pattern making
Bachelor degree
Key Responsibilities
Develop accurate and production-ready patterns for high-end garments
Interpret design sketches and technical specifications to create patterns
Create first samples and conduct fittings to ensure perfect fit and finish
Modify patterns based on fit trials and designer feedback
Work closely with designers, tailors, and production teams
Ensure precision in grading and size development
Maintain pattern documentation and technical sheets
Oversee garment construction techniques and quality standards
Ensure efficient fabric utilization and minimize wastage
Stay updated with latest pattern-making techniques and fashion trends
Required Skills
Advanced knowledge of manual and/or CAD-based pattern making
Strong understanding of garment construction and finishing techniques
Expertise in high-end / luxury garment development
Excellent fitting and alteration skills
Strong attention to detail and precision
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
