Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Expertise:

   • Analyze, design, and recommend improvements for pump systems and rotating machinery.
   • Select appropriate pumps and machinery based on system requirements.
   • Develop and implement maintenance programs to enhance equipment performance.

2. Operational Support:

   • Conduct performance evaluations and diagnostics on pumps and rotating equipment.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
   • Monitor vibration analysis, thermal imaging, and other predictive maintenance techniques.

3. Project Management:

   • Lead or participate in installation, commissioning, and start-up of new equipment.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for upgrades or modifications.
   • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

4. Documentation and Compliance:

   • Maintain detailed records of equipment specifications, maintenance activities, and performance reports.
   • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.

5. Training and Development:

   • Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance and operations teams.
   • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in pumps and rotating machinery.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in pumps and rotating machinery, including design, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in centrifugal, positive displacement, and other pump types.
  • Familiarity with rotating machinery such as compressors, turbines, and gearboxes.
  • Proficiency in tools like CAD software, vibration analysis, and condition monitoring systems.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., API, ISO standards) are a plus.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
