GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Location: Delhi- NCR/Punjab/Ahmedabad

Person to be appointed has to cater to Food – Dairy Products manufacturing companies in North India – Delhi- NCR, Punjab, Ahmedabad or the region in 

which the executive is appointed for. He needs to generate enquiry in the territory in which he is appointment. He would be required to generate leads and 

subsequently conduct plant trials. He will be provided training in product portfolio of the company’s product at our office.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in Dairy Plant in capacity of Production Supervisor in fermented products like 

Curd/Butter/Milk/Lassie/Cheese/Yogurt etc. Preference would be given to people who have worked directly in selling Food ingredients and more 

particularly in Dairy ingredients.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

B .Tech in Dairy Technology/Diploma in Dairy Technology/B.Sc/BBA /MBA with Good communication skills and knowledge of Hindi, English and preferably 

the local language of the region in which he would be working.

A Technical Sales and Marketing Executive (Dairy Ingredients) is responsible for promoting and selling dairy ingredients to clients in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and nutraceutical industries. This role combines both technical expertise in dairy ingredients and sales and marketing skills to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. Below are the typical job requirements for this role:

1. Educational Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Technology, Nutrition, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree (e.g., in Food Technology or Business Administration) is a plus but not always required.

2. Professional Experience:

  • Experience in Sales and Marketing: Typically, 2-5 years of experience in technical sales, marketing, or business development, preferably within the dairy, food and beverage, or ingredients industry.
  • Technical Expertise in Dairy Ingredients: A strong understanding of dairy products (e.g., milk powder, whey protein, casein, lactose) and how these ingredients are used in food and beverage formulations.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Proven experience in building and maintaining relationships with clients, suppliers, and distributors.
  • Industry Experience: Previous work experience in the dairy or food ingredients industry, with a focus on understanding dairy formulations and customer needs.

3. Core Skills and Competencies:

  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of dairy ingredients, their applications, and how they function in product formulations, especially in food, beverages, and nutraceuticals.
  • Sales and Negotiation Skills: Ability to promote dairy ingredients to potential customers, understand their needs, and close deals. Strong negotiation skills to secure contracts and agreements.
  • Marketing Knowledge: Experience in creating marketing strategies and materials to promote dairy ingredients, as well as executing digital marketing campaigns, trade shows, and other promotional activities.
  • Product Knowledge: Knowledge about the latest trends in dairy ingredients and how they can be applied to create value for customers (e.g., functional foods, protein fortification, clean label trends).
  • Market Research: Ability to analyze market trends, competitor products, and customer feedback to develop effective sales and marketing strategies.
  • Technical Presentations: Ability to deliver technical presentations to clients, demonstrating how specific dairy ingredients meet their needs.

4. Technical Skills:

  • CRM Software: Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems like Salesforce, HubSpot, or other relevant platforms for tracking customer interactions, sales pipelines, and reporting.
  • MS Office/Google Suite: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) for reporting, analysis, and presentations.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Ability to analyze sales data, customer trends, and market opportunities using tools like Excel or industry-specific software.

5. Soft Skills:

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for dealing with clients, delivering presentations, and creating marketing content.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Ability to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions using dairy ingredients.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to provide solutions to clients' technical and formulation challenges using dairy ingredients.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple clients, projects, and responsibilities efficiently.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work closely with the technical team, marketing team, and sales team to ensure smooth product delivery and customer satisfaction.
