Speech Therapist

Educational Qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution.
• Certification from relevant professional bodies (e.g., ASHA, RCSLT) is preferred.

Experience:

• A minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, specifically in speech therapy.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations, including children and adults with various speech and language disorders.

Skills:

• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills to evaluate speech and language disorders.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of various speech therapy techniques and tools.
• Familiarity with the latest research and trends in speech-language pathology.
• Understanding of cultural competencies and practices in a diverse environment.

Certifications:

• Valid professional license to practice as a Speech Therapist in the UAE.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required.
