Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cleaning and Maintenance:

    • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas of the home.
    • Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
    • Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
    • Clean bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and bathtubs.
    • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, including cleaning appliances and countertops.
  2. Laundry and Ironing:

    • Wash, dry, and fold laundry, ensuring proper care of clothing and linens.
    • Iron clothes, fold them neatly, and organize them in wardrobes or closets.
  3. Bed Making and Linen Changes:

    • Make beds daily and change bed linens on a regular basis.
  4. Dishwashing and Kitchen Organization:

    • Wash dishes, utensils, and cookware after meals.
    • Keep the kitchen clean and organized, ensuring all items are returned to their proper place.
  5. Grocery Shopping and Household Supplies:

    • Assist with grocery shopping or run errands for household supplies when necessary.
    • Keep track of household cleaning supplies and other essential items.
  6. Meal Preparation (if required):

    • Assist with simple meal preparation and serve meals when required.
    • Ensure the kitchen is clean after meal preparations and serving.
  7. Child and Pet Care (if required):

    • Assist in looking after children, including preparing snacks, supervising playtime, and ensuring their safety.
    • Assist with pet care, including feeding, cleaning, and walking pets, if necessary.
  8. Organizing and Tidying:

    • Ensure that all rooms are kept neat and organized.
    • Assist in the organization of closets, cupboards, and storage spaces.
  9. Waste Disposal:

    • Empty wastebaskets, take out trash, and sort recycling materials.
  10. Miscellaneous Tasks:

  • Perform additional household duties as requested by the employer, such as running errands, watering plants, or assisting with special events or guests.
