Extension Executive

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences, Horticulture, or a related field.

Experience:

• Proven experience in agricultural extension services or rural development.
• Experience in working with farmers and rural communities.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of agricultural practices, crop management, and sustainable farming techniques.
• Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and report writing.

Communication Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to convey complex agricultural concepts in a clear and understandable manner to farmers.

Interpersonal Skills:

• Strong relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders including farmers, government agencies, and NGOs.
• Experience in community mobilization and organizing training sessions or workshops.

Analytical Skills:

• Ability to assess the needs of the agricultural community and propose effective solutions.
• Competence in evaluating program effectiveness and making improvements.

Technical Proficiency:

• Familiarity with agricultural software and tools.
• Competence in using social media and other digital platforms for outreach and education.

Flexibility and Adaptability:

• Willingness to work in the field and travel as required.
• Ability to adapt to changing agricultural policies and community needs.

Language Skills:

• Proficiency in local languages and English to communicate effectively with a broad audience.
