  • Evaluate clients needs and create a custom treatment plan
  • Teach groups coping mechanisms related to stressful and traumatic they encounter.
  • Help individuals with the resources needed to reach personal goals.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust their treatment plan as needed.
  • Maintain required national counselling certification for the counselling position.
  • Coordinate with other healthcare providers, agencies and community resources in order to create a thorough treatment plan.

Qualification :

Bachelor degree

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Education: Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Licensure: Relevant licensure or certification to practice as a counselor in Australia and/or the USA.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in counseling, with a focus on diverse populations.
  • Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to assess client needs and develop effective treatment plans.
    • Proficiency in various counseling techniques and methodologies.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with mental health regulations and best practices in both countries.
