Roles and Responsibilities

 

  • Should have working knowledge of Auditing for Ind AS, GST, and Income Tax
  • Executing Audit in an effective and efficient manner
  • Review of Work executed by staff
  • Review quality of work performed by team & monitor assignment progress
  • Gain understanding of client operations, processes business objectives & utilize that knowledge of engagements.
  • Lead multiple audit assignments simultaneously.
  • Highlight issues in assignments and communicate with Partner-in charge
  • Ensure that Audit documentation in compliance with quality standards of the firm.
  • Provide training, coaching to team members; to assist them.
  • Demonstrate maturity, poise & self confidence in managing self & dealing with colleagues.
  • Should be reasonably skilled in using MS office

Desired Candidate Profile

 

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting (CA complete, CA Inter)
  • Completion of Articles.
  • Registration with accredited statutory body and association.
  • Should have expert knowledge of taxes.
  • Ready to work as a team

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Educational Qualifications:

    • Chartered Accountant (CA) certification from a recognized professional body.
    • A degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in accounting and finance.
    • Prior experience in auditing, taxation, and financial reporting is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards (IFRS, GAAP).
    • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Tally).
    • Advanced Excel skills and experience in financial modeling.
  • Analytical Skills:

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to interpret financial data and generate insightful reports.
  • Communication Skills:

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
    • Ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail:

    • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance.
  • Regulatory Knowledge:

    • In-depth knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
    • Familiarity with statutory audits and financial statement preparation.
  • Teamwork and Leadership:

    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Leadership skills to manage junior staff and oversee audit assignments.
  • Time Management:

    • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
